Three Storeys Old Bristol Road Nailsworth GL6 OJE
I walked along a section of the Thames & Severn Canal, a new walk for me, a very linear walk; photographs documented my scripted stops, especially in response to the prompt word ‘decay’. I am drawn to the traces of the past in the landscape; the textures, erasures, imprints left by past events. I would like my work to be a means of telling hidden topographic stories.
I took the walks documentation and stitched the path of the walk across the image – mimicking the OS map legend including the locks.
